Science Education and Technology
From APEC HRDWG Wiki
APEC and the Education Network has prioritized science education among its members for many years, recognizing that an economy's success in many industries of the 21st century requires a firm understanding of the physical, earth, and life sciences. Many educators from around the Asia-Pacific region and around the world are developing innovative methods by which to introduce scientific concepts into the classroom, including incorporating technology into science curricula and instruction practices. In few other areas of education do applications of technology fit so well as science education, and many students benefit from these enhanced educational methods.
APEC has supported activities and research that aim to improve science education through applications of technology. A sample of resources from APEC activities that discuss science education and technology are available below.
