As a passionate educator and principal of a 1,000 boys school I humbly believe loving your profession and the students in your care is the key to quality teaching and learning. I have visited students homes, joined parents for tea, sat with students in between races at athletics carnivals to ensure they complete school work. Its not about the type of child who enters our classroom its about the quality of love, respect and passion with which we teach children. Our profession needs passion, professional development, funding and support by parents, governments, unions and the community. |
